Through the Fire - Why Firefighters Are Just So Cool
In times of trouble, it's sort of a romantic thought to have that either some superhero or a knight in shining armor will suddenly emerge from the flames and sweep us away to safety and an optional happy ending. As good as this thought may be and as inviting as it may sound, we usually have to depend on more true to life characters to come to our aid in times of trouble. These people are as much flesh and blood as we are and perhaps this fact makes them even more heroic than any character our fantasies.
